FreinApp to solve my day to day problems

This is the first mobile app that i built using MIT app platform This app was built to solve my day to day problems. After having learnt mobile app building from Robofunlab on the MIT app inventor platform , this app was submitted for the contest held by Robofunlab Let me tell you about the process on building this Mobile app. first step was to pick an idea for my app and the basics of apps are that they solve problems in day to day life. so I started by listing the problems I face. I then segregated the problems that i could solve using an app. Once that was done I assigned them an importance level from 1 to 10 so that i could i discard less important problems. I than thought of how I could solve them, for example I would need to be reminded of when to do homework, so I needed to set multiple alarms. My largest Lego build

My first Great Ball Contraption (GBC)

I tried to build my first LEGO GBC. GBC is a technically challenging engineering contraption that tumbles down balls in a loop With the help of my dad we built a GBC as per our own imagination. This GBC has Lego motors linked to chain to gears that conveys balls via a escalator conveyor to the top to tumble down via two slopes

Rubik cube solver robot

As i could not yet solve the Rubiks cube i decided to build a Rubiks cube solver based on the detailed instructions available at www.mindcuber.com . This robot solves the Rubiks cube by scanning the sides and then calculating the number of steps to turn the cube faces to solve the cube. Its built with a Lego Mindstorms kit

My first public talk

I gave my first talk on the topic ‘Learning from Toys’ as part of the Project GEIT – Goans Empowered with Information Technology workshop at the South Goa District Library, Navelim, Margao. There were over 150 kids in attendance. The event was organised by my first Guru Vincent Toscano The organisers mentioned this ”Master Sai Pranav Gandhi (std. 1) demonstrating to the kids his LEGO Mindstorm EV3 programmable toys….amazing to see a new little star rise on the Goan tech horizon going by the way he commanded the audience in an interactive session!” Check out the video and pictures
